Improve your Standard with Young Ryu's Wednesday group classes

Ballroom coach Young Ryu is now teaching our Advanced Standard group classes on Wednesdays. He has coached many of BC's top ballroom dancers. Focusing on continuity, ease of movement, and developing power in dancing, Young gives you valuable exercises and knowledge to increase your skill in International Standard.

You'll learn how to use gravity to reduce the effort while increasing your power, apply natural laws like centrifugal force to make your dancing seem effortless, and use your body weight correctly to create beauty in your movement. No partner is necessary for these classes. Routines are given so that you can apply the techniques being taught.

Join these exciting classes now underway Wednesdays from 7:00-8:30PM. Package rate for 4 sessions is just $50 for members or $60 for non-members. Drop-in fee is $20 per class.

New Saturday Silver Latin class

We're launching a new Silver Latin group class program on Saturdays! Starting with Rumba January 31, and then moving to new dances on a regular cycle, you'll learn a routine for each dance along with the right technique to make your dancing look and feel great. No partner needed. Sunny Li is teaching these classes, which take place Saturdays from 7:30-8:30PM. Special introductory promo price! Just $88 gets you 10 classes.

Benoit Drolet teaching in February

Blackpool finalist and world renowned Standard coach Benoit Drolet is coming to teach at Broadway Ballroom February 25-27. Competition coming April 4

Our Pro-Am and Youth Dance Festival is coming to Broadway Ballroom Saturday, April 4. This will be a full Pro-Am event in International and American Style PLUS a full slate of youth competitions, Invitational Open Latin competition, and BC's first ever Pro-Am Team Match! Come to participate, or just to watch. Sanctioning of amateur events by DanceSport BC has been requested. More details will be announced soon.
