 Competition
this weekend!
On Saturday, April 4 Broadway Ballroom will
host a DanceSport competition featuring a wide variety of dance levels
and age groups. If you've never seen a ballroom dance competition,
this is a great chance to see some great dance performances. Included
are some of BC's best dancers as they take one final opportunity
to compete before attending the Canadian Championships in Montreal
later in the week. Tickets are available at the door. Complete information

New Standard group class
A new Standard group
class for Newcomer
to Bronze level dancers is beginning Monday, May 4. The class will
run weekly every Monday from 7:30-8:30PM. Taught by Young Ryu, the
class offers excellent quality instruction in the traditional ballroom
dances: from the romantic Waltz to the lively Quickstep, and everything
in between. If you're just getting started as a dancer, this is a
great opportunity to develop your skills from the ground up in a
way that will carry you through the rest of your dancing life.

New Latin group class
A new Latin group class for Newcomer to Bronze
level dancers is starting Thursday, May 7. This class will run weekly
every Thursday from 7:30-8:30PM. It's a great opportunity to understand
the essential basics of good ballroom Latin dancing, from the sensuous
Rumba to the flirtatious Cha Cha, as well as other dances.
