BDFI Canada Congress, which is organizing
a series of world-class Latin and Standard lectures at Golden Autumn
Dance Festival, has provided a welcome letter to familiarize dancers

Festival BDFI lectures will take place October 16 from 6-9pm at Broadway
Ballroom in Vancouver.
A worldwide organization, BDFI (Ballroom
Dancers' Federation International) has been shaping the future of
dance for decades. Founded in England, the organization exists to
promote the spirit of good fellowship and sportsmanship and to protect
the interests of everyone involved in competitive DanceSport. BDFI
offers lecture series around the world, including such venues as
Embassy Ball and Blackpool. Membership is open to anyone
regardless of whether they are professional or amateur.
BDFI has now launched in Canada, under
the direction of coach and adjudicator Vadim Mostovoy, with the same
goals and objectives as the parent organization.

Lecture series update
Olga Foraponova has been added to the list
of renowned DanceSport champions who will be speaking at the BDFI
Canada lecture series on October 16. The list now includes Andrei
Gavriline, Elena Kruchkova, Benoit Drolet and Olga Foraponova.
More world-class instruction than you ever thought possible in a
single evening! Open to all amateurs and professionals. Lectures
take place Friday, October 16 from 6-9PM! Cost is just $80 for the
entire lecture series, or $70 for BDFI members. It all happens at
Broadway Ballroom at 1050 West Broadway (near Oak) in Vancouver.
