Ballroom Basics class taught by Young Ryu
Broadway Ballroom is thrilled to announce a new
International Standard class taught by renowned coach and professional
adjudicator Young Ryu. Focused on the Ballroom dances, from Waltz
to Quickstep, the class will cover a different dance each month.
It's oriented towards anyone who is new to these dances or has some
basic knowledge but wants to learn how to dance them the way the
pros do -- newcomer to Bronze level dancers. You'll learn the foundational
elements that make you look good on the dance floor, from posture
and poise to footwork and partnership. No partner necessary! Just
$49 for a 4-week package.
Classes take place Mondays from 7:30-8:30PM.
Tuesday and Wednesday party nights once again featuring
mixed music
In response to requests from our dancers, we've
returned to the original format for our Tuesday and Wednesday night
parties. So every night of the week you can enjoy both Latin
and Standard music all night long! Broadway Ballroom features the
finest floor surface in Greater Vancouver, with Swarovsky crystal
chandeliers providing just the right lighting to put you in the mood
for dancing. Take advantage of our two-for-one member price for dance
parties by becoming an annual member of Broadway Ballroom.
New Latin group class
A new Latin group class for Newcomer to Bronze
level dancers is starting Thursday, May 7. This class will run weekly
every Thursday from 7:30-8:30PM. It's a great opportunity to understand
the essential basics of good ballroom Latin dancing, from the sensuous
Rumba to the flirtatious Cha Cha, as well as other dances.
